Park in small car park on east side of road (ST632254).
Walk a few metres north from the car park and take the steeply rising track on your left. Meadow Saxifrage can be found on the barish areas beneath the large trees, before reaching the top. This hill is reputedly the site of King Arthur’s Camelot and evidence of fortification banks can be seen. Little Mouse-ear and Early Forget-me-not can be found in the dry bare areas and on the southern ramparts. Small-flowered Buttercup, Twiggy Mullein and Cotton Thistle appear most seasons. You may also come across Hound’s-tongue.
