17 Nunney Combe

There is limited parking by the church (ST 737457).

Walk NE and take the first track on the left which leads into Nunny Combe. The Nunny Brook runs through the combe, firstly though fields and then into woodland which in the spring is beautifully carpeted with Snowdrops and a little later in the season Tuberous Comfrey and Star-of-Bethlehem. It is also good for Thin-spiked Wood-sedge. The brook itself is a good place to find Crayfish if one turns over a few stones.
